With over 10 years’ experience in accountancy recruitment, Nick has established himself as an industry expert through his committed and proficient approach to developing and nurturing a network of industry professionals. His deep sector knowledge gained over his years as a successful recruiter allows Nick to mould the Taylor Hawkes offering and scale to better serve our clients in an ever-changing marketplace.
Director & Co-Founder
Lucy set up Taylor Hawkes with Nick back in 2016, with the shared aim of building a business that fosters real talent in the recruitment sector, while also providing a high-quality connection service for clients. Starting her career in high-end sales means Lucy brings an attitude of quality and results in her work with clients and candidates alike. Lucy also runs the training programme for staff internally –taking great pride in helping develop the expertise and trusted approach that the industry has come to expect from the Taylor Hawkes team.

Director
Liam leads Taylor Hawkes' recruiting team of audit, outsourcing and financial reporting specialists. His portfolio of clients typically consists of Taylor Hawkes’ larger corporate firms, with fantastic connections with a range of global top-10 and top-20 firms. With a degree in accountancy and finance and eight years' recruitment experience in the sector, he has built a vast client portfolio who all believe in the quality of candidates Liam brings to the table. He also works with a wide range of firms internationally, including in the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, the Channel Islands, and other international finance hubs.
Head of Marketing
Pauline joined Taylor Hawkes in 2022 to lead the development of the company’s brand and marketing strategy as it continues to evolve and grow. She has a wealth of experience, with 10 years heading up marketing departments for innovative corporate businesses, as well as 15 years in a design background. Pauline is responsible for a wide range of activities, developing the Taylor Hawkes brand through events, strategic partnerships, marketing, communications, public relations and supporting business development strategies.
Director
Ryan heads up in-house/industry recruitment and leads a team of dedicated consultants throughout all of the UK and US, both in a finance and non-finance capacity, as well as recruitment within the legal sector.
Having originally started with Taylor Hawkes in 2019, initially undertaking tax recruitment in London, before expanding and developing Taylor Hawkes presence throughout all of the UK. In 2022, Ryan switched across to build upon and develop the already solid foundation for industry recruitment in the UK and has since expanded this to the US. Ryan has 15 years' experience in sales and business development and is the go-to man at Taylor Hawkes for industry and legal opportunities throughout all of the UK and US.
CRM and Data Manager
Nathan joined Taylor Hawkes in early 2017 and is one of the longest-serving members of staff. He has been influential in the development of the business since, with a focus on leading the structured marketing approach and data-driven recruitment model that has made Taylor Hawkes so successful. Nathan now manages the CRM and data side of the business, which is paramount to the Taylor Hawkes model, while also overseeing a team of data professionals who make this approach work from behind the scenes.
Head of CPA Recruitment
Darren is our Head of US CPA Recruitment at Taylor Hawkes. He excels in connecting top-tier accountancy practices with the finest Certified Public Accounting (CPA) talent and driving business growth through strategic placements. With a deep understanding of the US accountancy landscape and a commitment to industry trends, Darren is a trusted advisor for clients and candidates alike.
Prior to his current role, Darren played a pivotal role in transforming a startup Accountancy Practice Consultancy into a nationally recognised accountancy and finance recruitment consultancy. His leadership spanned the Public Practice Division, C-Suite market in Industry, and the Mergers and Acquisitions department.
In addition to his professional achievements, Darren advocates for innovative CPA recruitment strategies that leverage cutting-edge technology to meet industry demands. His insights into the challenges faced by Public Accounting firms and transformative recruitment strategies highlight his commitment to driving change and fostering growth in the profession.
